About Floyd, part 1
Floyd William Creager the III, aka "Bill," was born to Floyd Wm Creager (the II) and Lucille Moss on December 24, 1947 in Mishawaka, Indiana. His maternal grandmother, Linda Moss, was a full-blood Cherokee Indian. His paternal grandmother was Phyllis LeBlanc. Billy was Lucille's first born child.
Billy was born into a difficult life of hardship and trauma, including a family history of alcoholism and abuse. At just 3 months of age, little Billy lost his father in a train accident.
His mother, Lucille, remarried when Billy was about 6 months old. Bill grew up having a strained relationship with his step-father. He experienced a harsh upbringing including corporal punishment and strict religious restraints.
His closest sibling, Cathy, one year younger than Bill, was his first and best friend. Bill also had two brothers, Chris and Harry, and another sister, Pam. However, the family lost Cathy to Lukemia when she was just 5 yrs old. The loss devastated Bill.
Despite a painful start, Bill developed a sweet and kind spirit, a huge caring heart, and a strong love for others.
